We've been looking after the eyes of Nottingham uni & QMC medical students for the last 25 years so we know something of the toll that all that studying can take on your eyes.

The brain has many defence mechanism's, if the images are a little unbalanced or out of focus prolonged concentration (mainly VDU or textbook) can lead to headaches or eyestrain.

The defence mechanism kicks in and the system shut's down, you've just spent half an hour reading that textbook and none of it's gone in. And of course it always happens when you have an important dissertation to hand in the next morning.

Sound familiar?

Fortunately we encounter this scenario time and time again (especially around exam time) and are quite used to solving it.
